Fancy a tea or coffee, hot or iced? Yumchaa is a quaint, cute little tea shop with two locations in Camden Town (Camden Market and Camden Parkway.) They have over 40 different blends of tea, artisanal roasted coffee, tasty tea lattes and a wide assortment of cakes, sweet treats and sandwiches. The staff is very knowledgeable and can always recommend a unique drink option or their personal favorite. They even have gluten-free or vegan options, but you’ve got to get there early!

Yumchaa is truly the perfect city escape to enjoy a book or catch up with a friend. If you’re looking for a place to study, Yumchaa’s got you covered — they’ve got free WiFi, and unlike most cafes, it’s got a pretty decent speed. You can also take your food and drinks to-go, and head out to Regent’s Park for an afternoon picnic. The park is only about 10 minutes walk from the cafe and is a sprawling oasis of greenery, gardens and fountains.

What also makes this place special is their “Tea School”. For £25 you can take part in their “Tea Tasting Masterclass” (located at Brick Lane location), where you’ll be expertly guided through 11 different tea tastings, learning about each and enjoying cake, and unlimited beverages during breaks. The whole thing even kicks off with a tea cocktail! Masterclasses are held on the last Thursday every month from 7-9PM.
