London Nest is hiring: Events & Customer Service Co-ordinator

Job Description:
Your role will consist of providing customer service on site at one of our residences (The Curve, Zone 1, Aldgate), dealing with students on a daily basis and support our team in event organisation.
Essential skills:
Strong organisational skills
Excellent communication skills including oral, written and presentational; ability to express ideas clearly and concisely.
Sociable and able to deal with various customers
Ability to manage competing demands and frequent changes
Willingness to take initiative and responsibility for tasks you take on
Must be organised, resourceful, and a fast learner,who pays attention to detail.
Must be a team player, willing to take part in both team work and individually on creative projects.
Excellent administration skills
Fluent in English. Additional languages preferred.
Computer literate (word, excel…)
Responsibilities:
Customer service:
Organising & delivering welcome parties – every Sunday early evening
Pre-departure every Thursday: going to each room ensuring nothing broken and departure date is confirmed
Saturday and Sunday departures ensuring the room is left tidy by students
Saturday and Sunday arrivals: meet and greet, ensure rooms have been cleaned and are up to standard
Organising social activities in the evenings
Liaising with London Nest Operation Team to communicate any changes or concerns
Being on site engaging with clients and creating an entertaining atmosphere
Making sure clients complete feedback forms and leave positive reviews
Availability for emergency outside working hours
Background:
We do not treat interns any differently to our other team members. In return for an exceptional package, training induction and continual coaching we will expect you to drive the sales of London Nest to students.
Start date: 15th June 2018
Length of internship: up to 3 months. (Depending on performance the employment could become permanent.)
Induction period: 2 weeks
Internship package:Accommodation + expenses
Holiday: equivalent to 20 days a year plus bank holidays pro-rata
Working hours: 40 hours/week
Monday to Sunday with 2 days off per week (excluding weekends)
