The UK’s capital city, London, is a vibrant hub boasting  a population of 8.78 million (according to 2016 figures), and is a popular and historical culture as well a multicultural city that never sleeps.

We asked some of our team what their favourite thing about living in London is.

“My favourite thing about London would definitely be the music scene”.

London is a European hotspot for music, with iconic venues such as Brixton Academy, the O2 Arena, the stunning Royal Albert hall and even areas like Camden Town which boasts venues such as the Electric Ballroom and the Jazz Café.  London simply has it all no matter your taste in music.

Every night there will be a live event somewhere within commutable distance with bands from all over the world coming to the city.

“My favourite thing about living in London is the parks”

Despite being a compact City, London boasts a plethora of open spaces, the most commonly known is of course Hyde Park, located in the City of Westminster.

With 350 acres of rolling greens and beautiful lakes, Hyde park has become a tourist hotspot. However, it does not just end there, the city also has Regent’s Park which is the location of the famous London Zoo is and Hampstead Heath, which offers stunning views of the city.

No matter where you go in the capital, a friendly face is never far away, be it for drinks on a night out, a walk through the park or even chatting to a London cab driver, the city is full of opportunity to meet new people and constantly learn new things.
