October Happenings in London!

October Happenings in London!

Autumn is here

Autumn is here! And, London certainly does not disappoint. There are tons of things happening in the city, no matter your interests, so there’s no excuse to sit inside and miss out.

It’s hard to narrow down the list of autumn events, but we came up with a few favourites that we’ll definitely be at this October.

HarvestFest, Tobacco Dock, Wapping

All month until October 27th
The rooftop “playground” at Tobacco Dock is hosting their first ever autumn-inspired mini-festival. Every weekend in October, they’ll be putting on a variety of events across their three-story space. Personally, I can’t wait to see what their autumn-themed cocktails are all about. They’ve even promised blankets and space heaters, so you can cozy up to live music and festive drinks.

Museums at Night Festival

Oct. 25-27
If you love going to museums, you’re going to love these nighttime events even more! At various museums across the city, they’ll be opening their doors extra late to host special talks, exhibitions and cultural events. I especially don’t want to miss these events, because they won’t happen again until May of next year! I’ve had a peek through the list of events and the two that caught my eye were the Tudor Treasure Hunt held at Fulham Palace and Choco-Tale: An Evening of Chocolate Games at the Chocolate Museum. There’s plenty more fun to be had, so check it out: http://museumsatnight.org.uk/

Visit Kew Gardens

Not everything in London has to cost money. There are plenty of free things to do in and around the city. One of my favourite spots in autumn is Kew Gardens. It’s beautiful to visit all year round, but in autumn when the Maples start to change colours, it’s absolutely breathtaking. To get an even better view, I like to take a stroll across the Treetop Walkway (18 meters above the ground!)

We hope you enjoy the season and all this wonderful city has to offer!
