What is there to do in Camden Town?

This stylish area of North London is best known for its entertainment, retail, tourism, and boasts one of the most popular performing arts centres in London, The Roundhouse.

Between 1966 and 1976 bands such as Pink Floyd, The Rolling Stones and David Bowie all performed at the iconic venue. These days, The Roundhouse is a must visit site and regularly hosts theatre, spoken word, music events and even opera.  So, if the art is your ‘thing’, then The Roundhouse is surely something you cannot miss.

Keeping the art-rock vintage vibes, The Electric Ballroom is an iconic venue that has been in operation for over seventy years, primarily focused on rock music. The site located just to the south of Camden Lock is a hub for local nightlife. For a more chilled Sunday afternoon, head down to Camden Lock and take a walk by Regents Canal. Spend the afternoon browsing the colourful array of shops lining the famous market, which is open 364 days a year, closed on Christmas Day.
