Summer Series 1: Who’s hungry?

Summer Series 1: Who’s hungry?

London is a foodie paradise, but you’ve probably already noticed that. Nonetheless, we’re here to give you the best and tastiest tips for your foodie experience.

Boxpark Shoreditch

Conveniently located in the hippest, hipster spot is Boxpark, a collection of street food stands and pop-up shops. It gets its name from it’s long, rectangular shape, where each shop or stand is slotted in just like a shoe box. The bottom half is primarily retail shops, including some rotating pop-up spaces; the top half is food and drinks. There’s Thai, Jamaican, vegan, barbeque, ice cream, pizza, sushi — literally anything and everything you could imagine. On the back end, closest to the Shoreditch High Street station is a green astroturf with beach chairs and projector screen, typically screening sports.

Whitecross Street Market

Sometimes affectionately referred to as “Bite”cross Street, this market caters to the weekday lunch crowd. The market takes over the entire length of the street during midday and caters to every fancy your taste buds can imagine. My favorites are Buddha Bowl, a healthy spin on Asian-inspired cuisine; Sunny’s Olive Tree, where you can build your own salad box right to the brim with Greek delicatessen; Bombay Masala, authentic Indian cuisine.

London Food Month

The whole month of June is London Food Month with nearly 450 events to enjoy and devour. From the Night Market to Bottomless Brunches to special meal deals, there’s something on every day. London Food Month is the opportunity to try out new cuisines, such as Chinese Dim Sum and Swiss Raclette, or try your hand at one of their numerous Masterclasses, where participants get to prepare food and drink, alongside the experts.
